Plot summary:
The Vagina Monologues, written by Eve Ensler, is a groundbreaking episodic play that explores women's experiences with their bodies, sexuality, and identities. The work is not a traditional linear play with a single plot but rather a collection of monologues, each addressing themes related to womanhood, empowerment, and the vagina as a symbol of femininity and individuality.

Roles:
There are 12 monologues which require the following demographics. Please note some parts will be doubled up and considered for Woman 1/2/3 who act as narrators/intros between monologues.
Woman 1/2/3 - Flexible; narrator role, can be performed by any age.
Hair - 40+; race and ethnicity flexible.
The Flood – 50+; race and ethnicity flexible.
The Vagina Workshop – 30s-40s; race and ethnicity flexible.
Because He Liked to Look at It – 20s-30s; race and ethnicity flexible.
My Angry Vagina – Can be any adult age; race and ethnicity flexible.
My Vagina Was My Village – 20s-30s; This traumatic piece needs to ideally be played by a diverse woman from a Muslim background.
The Little Coochi Snorcher That Could – 20s-40s; race and ethnicity flexible.
Reclaiming Cunt – Can be any adult age; race and ethnicity flexible.
The Woman Who Loved to Make Vaginas Happy – 30s-50s; race and ethnicity flexible.
I Was There in the Room – 40+; race and ethnicity flexible.

Key Dates:
Rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays and Sundays from the 14th of January to the 22nd of April.
Tech and Dress rehearsals will take place on Wednesday the 23rd of April during the day.
